"Decent knife, but the price didn’t wow me"
I bought a knife from echefknife.com, it’s fine. The quality seems decent so far, so I’m not mad about the purchase or anything, but the price really didn’t feel like some great deal. I kind of expected better discounts or at least to feel like I was getting more value for what I paid. It’s not bad, just a little frustrating because it feels average overall.

I tried to return a knife from echefknife.com it was WAY more annoying than it needed to be. The replies were slow, the instructions weren’t clear, and I still had to keep following up just to get anywhere. I’m not buying from them again, returns should NOT be this frustrating...

"I ran into an issue with my order..."
I ran into an issue with my order and tried reaching out to echefknife.com several times. The replies took a while, and when they did respond, it felt like they weren’t really answering what I was asking. I kept having to explain the same thing over and over, which got annoying, especially because the communication was so unclear. In the end, nothing was resolved and I just gave up. Not a good experience with their support

"Lost its edge quicker than I expected"
I’m totally calm about it, of course, but yeah... this knife got dull way faster than I thought it would. It was really sharp at first, which was nice, but after just a few regular dinners at home, it already felt like it needed sharpening. I wasn’t doing anything intense with it either, just normal kitchen stuff. Had to sharpen it way sooner than I planned, so I can’t really say it was worth it for me.

"Handle’s alright, but not my favorite"
The knife showed up fine and it cuts okay, but the handle just doesn’t feel that comfortable to me. After using it for a bit, it starts to feel kind of awkward in my hand. Maybe I’m just picky about handles — I’ve been cooking more lately, mostly because I’m trying not to order takeout every other night, but I expected it to feel a little more natural. It’s not a bad knife by any means, just not as comfortable as I hoped.

"Delivery was much slower than I’m used to"
The shipping took way longer than I expected. I’ve ordered from other places around the same time and those packages showed up much faster, so this one felt especially slow. The tracking updates weren’t very clear either, so I kept checking and still couldn’t tell when it was actually going to arrive. Frustrating overall, and I wasn’t happy with the delivery time.

"Good knife, just a little handle-heavy"
The knife cuts well and does what it’s supposed to, but the balance feels a bit off to me, kind of handle-heavy. It’s not a dealbreaker or anything, just something I noticed right away. Took me a little time to get used to it, but overall it’s still a solid knife

"Not gonna lie, the site was frustrating"
Not gonna lie, I tried searching for a knife and the whole site just felt slow and cluttered. The filters didn’t really help me narrow anything down, and when I got to checkout, it was more confusing than it needed to be. I ended up giving up before finishing the order

"I really wanted to like this..."
I really wanted to like this, but the steel just feels softer than it should. The blade dulled way faster than I expected, and I kept having to stop and sharpen it, which got old quickly. I don't mind a little maintenance, but feeling forced to be patient with it every time I used it was frustrating

"Rough finish on the blade"
I don’t know, the whole thing just felt kind of poorly done. The handle had little gaps in it, and the blade edge wasn’t even, like you could tell it wasn’t finished cleanly. For what it costs, I expected way better. It just came off sloppy, and I’m disappointed.

"Pretty much just like the photos"
I ordered a gyuto from echefknife.com, and overall it lined up really well with what was shown on the site. The size, handle color, and finish all looked just like the photos and specs, which I definitely appreciated.
The only small thing I noticed was that the edge near the tip looked just slightly uneven, but it wasn’t anything that really bothered me or affected my first impression much. All in all, it felt like an accurate listing with no unexpected surprises

"Knife showed up way duller than it should have"
I bought a knife from echefknife and, it was disappointing right out of the box. And before anyone says I just don’t know how to use a knife, I’ve used plenty of new knives before and this one was not sharp. I had to press way harder than I should’ve just to get through tomatoes, which is basically one of the main reasons I wanted a new knife in the first place. I expected it to be ready to use, but I ended up having to sharpen it myself after the first day. Not really what I was hoping for

Just got the knife today, and first impression is solid. It was packed well, though the box did have a small dent when it arrived. Luckily, everything inside was totally fine, so I’m not too worried about it.
